Program Notes-
We act as a reflection of what is around us.  We interact with the outside world, we conform to what is expected of us, we operate with or against an influence.  This work explores the push and pull between individual and others.  The two percussionists interact within phrases both in unison, and in response to the other’s actions.  They drive and complete the musical framework as a reflection of itself and as a response to an influence.
