Program Notes-
"Crashing out" is a term that could mean two things at the same time.  Stemming from delirium due to a lack of sleep or exhaustion, crashing out can result in irrational anger and aggression, or to grow weary and drowsy.  This work explores the fine line between these emotions and their connection to the same root cause.  Written for bass clarinet, double bass, and percussion; this piece explores both sonic timbres and soundscapes, as well as relentless percussive elements in recreating this delirium.
